A medical camp was organized on Thursday in Karachi Press Club with the support of Pak American Arthritis Center and Al-Ehed Medical Center, in which a well-known rheumatologist examined the journalists, more than 100 journalists and their families underwent various medical tests in the camp. And medical advice was also given. At the end of the camp, the managing director of Pak American Arthritis Center Dr. Saleha Ishaq, well-known rheumatologist Dr. Samira Ghani, medical director of Ayahd Medical Center Dr. Faraz Hashmi, Dr. Majid, Roman Khan, and Afshan were also present.

Dr. Saleha Ishaq said that the roads that are built all over the world last for years. In many countries, the roads of 1950 are still in good condition, but in Karachi, the roads are washed away in the rain. The roads built last year are few. The roads have been washed away in the rains of the past month, and the condition of the roads is very bad.

Neha said that as a result of dilapidated and dirty roads, citizens are suffering from back and joint pain, these diseases have increased by 30% during the last 6 months, and a large number of young people, especially bikers, are suffering from back and joint pain. are happening. Dr. Saleha Ishaq said that due to bad roads, people of all ages are affected and children are also included among these people. Earlier, women were more prone to joint pain, but now a large number of men, especially young people, are coming to the hospital.

MD Pak American Arthritis Center said that the Sindh government should put up the names of the contractors who build roads around the world so that the contractors should be put up in Karachi so that the citizens are aware and the contractors who use poor materials should be put up. should be banned. He said that 90 percent of the journalists who came for medical examination in the camp organized at Karachi Press Club have come with complaints of back and hip pain.

Dr. Faraz Hashmi said that Pak American Arthritis Center is the first center in Pakistan where all diseases related to rheumatologists are treated under the supervision of experts.
