WhatsApp, the world's most used social media app, continues to stay true to its tradition of innovation with the introduction of three new features. As times change, the app has been constantly introducing innovations to its users over the past few years, including last year's update to a group calling. Recent months have seen additions to proxy server support and status, including voice notifications. Now, WhatsApp has added three more features to improve the group experience.
The first feature is an increase in the number of people
included in a WhatsApp group. The number of group members has doubled from
512 to 1024, enhancing communication for larger groups.
The second feature provides more control to group admins.
Before any member can join a group, the consent of the admin is required, which
was not previously available.
The third feature is the Common Groups feature. This allows
users to search a WhatsApp friend's name to find out how many groups they are a
member of, which you are also a member of.
WhatsApp has announced that users will be able to use these
features in the coming weeks. With these new features, WhatsApp aims to improve
group communication and make the app more user-friendly
